Concert Choir and Noteworthy are joining together to go sing around the Richmond and Excelsior Springs area. Mr. West, the choir director, said “We will be caroling and performing songs from our upcoming concert on December 13th at 5p.m. at the Farris Theatre.” Their first stop will be Dear Elementary then they will sing at the two retirement homes in Richmond and will continue onto the Excelsior retirement homes as well.
The choir is more than happy to participate in this event. Alyssa Minnick said “I enjoy seeing the elderly people, I think it’ll be good for them to see new faces”. Mr. West thinks that it will be good for the younger generation to connect with the elders. “I’m really excited for people that cannot get out and about to hear the choir, I’m really proud of how the choir is doing” said Mr. West. It will be a joyful moment for everyone participating and a great memory for the ones that get to make an appearance.
