The Richmond Chapter of National Honor Society hosted their annual spring Blood Drive on Wednesday, March 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. All NHS members were responsible for signing up students and members of the community to give blood.
NHS started the drive with a goal of 80 pints to collect and over 120 appointments were made for the day. They ended up collecting approximately 98 pints. This year, the Community Blood Center is offering a scholarship to a senior heavily involved in this years blood drives. The fall blood drive was hosted by FFA. They, as well as NHS, will also be receiving a scholarship for their members based on the 60 pints they collected this fall.
