On October 1st, Mr. Brandon Quick, biology teacher at RHS, took his Dual-Credit Biology class to Missouri Western State University to participate in a lab. The class collected specimens from the woods to learn about biodiversity and collected data such as dissolved oxygen levels and wind speed from the pond. The students were able to utilize resources that they do not normally have access to at the high school.
While they were there, students were able to eat at the Student Union, get their Student ID cards, and get a taste of college life. All around, it was a great experience and they plan to attend another lab at Missouri Western State University again soon!
