On October 13th, the Richmond Spartan Marching Band attended a Marching Band Competition in St. Joseph. They competed against 4A and 5A schools but still managed to end with fourth place overall. Conductor, Jeff Clymore said, "[they] did really well.”
This last Saturday, October 20th, Marching Band attended their last competition in Cameron. This was the first time that the Spartans had attended this particular event and they ranked fourth in the parade section of the competition.
This has been a good season for the Marching Spartans with their “Lady Gaga” theme. These events marked the end of the marching band season, but we are excited for the next one!
